Prenatal Baby Yoga

Pregnancy is a beautiful time of life, and yoga is a great way to balance your changing body through the trimesters and postpartum recovery. Through a series of exercises designed to strengthen and balance your body you will begin to connect with your breath and muscle's in preparation for delivery. For those who have delivered already this class will help rebuild pelvic strength and work to restore muscles that may have been strained during delivery. By strengthening your body and increasing your flexibility you will gain balance and find joy through the journey of pregnancy and into motherhood. Babies are always welcome. Yoga is open to all!

Tuesdays at 6:30pm

*1st Class in December is Free at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center with Yoga Teachers Training to be Prenatal Yoga Teachers.

Family Yoga (Ages 1-5)

Early childhood is a wonderful time to introduce yoga and practicing as a family is a great way to bond and have fun together. This class combines song, dance, stories, animals, and movement to keep the whole family smiling and mindful. Babies are always welcome. Yoga is open to all!

Saturdays 10:30-11am

Babes under 1 year old are free.

Prenatal Partner Yoga Workshop

Yoga helps prepare the mind, body and spirit for the many changes during pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood. In this workshop you will get the opportunity to connect more deeply to your partner or birth coach (this can be a mom, friend, doula, or other support person!) and baby. You will learn techniques for breath awareness, partner poses, relaxation and massage, which can help strengthen and calm your body in preparation for both childbirth and parenting.

Please eat a light meal one hour before class, and bring a snack, water, yoga mat or beach towel, and a pillow (or two!).

Early Bird Rate: $40 per couple 2 weeks prior to event. $50 after

Jennica Joyce and her husband, Alexander Arrklev, bring their personal experience of childbirth and 13 year relationship, as well as Jennica Joyce’s experience teaching prenatal yoga students to this workshop. They are currently preparing to welcome their second child into this world. Together, they are ready to share a variety of breathing, supporting techniques and physical postures to help the mom and empower the partner during labor.

Pelvic Floor Workshop for Women

If you are a woman and are pregnant, just had a baby, your little ones have little ones of their own, or never had children, this workshop is for you! A healthy, balanced, pelvic floor provides support for your entire body, especially your core. This workshop improves your awareness and knowledge about the pelvic floor which benefits your mobility, activity and well-being. You will learn how to relax the pelvic floor (expectant mamas will learn how to push their babies out), and practice yoga poses to tone, strengthen and create balance in the pelvic floor

Jennica Joyce brings her personal experience of childbirth and rehabilitating her pelvis after it was fractured in a car accident as well as her background in anatomy & physiology, prenatal and office yoga teaching experience to this workshop.
